Course outline

This practical proofreading course will teach publishing staff the fundamentals of proofreading, including how and why it differs from editing, how to mark up proofs correctly and how to stay within budget. It will be useful both to editorial staff who proofread as part of their job and to those who work with freelance proofreaders.

Note: This course is not intended for those planning to become a freelance proofreader – instead, we offer a proofreading course by distance learning for this purpose.
